The Synthesis Center is a nonprofit educational institution, founded in 1976, accredited to offer training in Psychosynthesis theory and practice that leads to a Board Certified Coach (BCC) credential. The main office is in Amherst, MA with in person training offered at Hallelujah Farm, Chesterfield, NH (5 minutes from Brattleboro, VT). There is also a distance learning option available. Per the Center’s web site: "Psychosynthesis is a name for the conscious attempt to cooperate with the natural process of personal development. All living things contain within them a drive to evolve, to become the fullest realization of themselves." Leyza completed the Center's year long professional Life Coach Training Program in 2017 and is in process of sitting for the national BoardCertified Coach (BCC) exam.
The Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis (AAP) is dedicated to the evolution of wholeness and spiritual integration world-wide. The AAP is a nonprofit membership organization and was established in 1995. Leyza became a member in 2016.
The HeartMath Institute offers "scientifically based tools that bridge the connection between heart and mind and deepen people’s connection with the hearts of others. This empowers people to greatly reduce stress, increase resilience and unlock their natural intuitive guidance for making better choices." Leyza became a certified HeartMath Coach in 2015.

The Dempsey Center is a leader in Quality of Life care for individuals and families impacted by cancer. Founded in Lewiston, Maine by actor Patrick Dempsey, the Dempsey Center provides a personalized, holistic and integrated approach to cancer prevention, education and support. All services are provided at no cost to anyone impacted by cancer regardless of their socioeconomic circumstances or where they receive their medical treatment.
Peggy Huddleston’s Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster: A Guide of Mind-Body Techniques describes the 5-step protocol she developed in the 1990's to help people feel calmer before surgery, and experience less pain, and recover more quickly afterwards.
Ms. Huddleston's web site provides: an interview with NPR where she describes these techniques; videos of surgeons and patients talking about the benefits of the work; and, links to research done with hospitals documenting the success of these techniques.
Leyza was certified by Ms. Huddleston in 2015 to offer her healing work.
The Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) is a global organization that supports the learning and sharing of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and helps people peacefully and effectively resolve conflicts in personal, organizational, and political settings. NVC teaches a process that helps to cultivate moment to moment awareness of what is alive in ourselves and others, and to act in ways that contribute to life. According to Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg (1934-2015), NVC’s founder and past director of educational services, "All that has been integrated into NVC has been known for centuries about consciousness, language, communication skills, and use of power that enable us to maintain a perspective of empathy for ourselves and others, even under trying conditions." Leyza is enrolled a Level I & II workshop with the Maine NVC Network.
Kepler College, founded in 1992, is globally recognized for its astrological distance education for beginners as well as professionals.
The school is founded on the premise that "the world is subject to change" and "Actively interpreting the connection between the cosmos and nature as well as between the cosmos and human being are ways that cultures worldwide have dealt with issues of change - changes in individual lives or changes in one's society or nation."
Leyza is enrolled in the school’s Professional Diploma program with an anticipated completion date in 2020.
