The Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC)

The Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) is a global organization that supports the learning and sharing of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), and helps people peacefully and effectively resolve conflicts in personal, organizational, and political settings. NVC teaches a process that helps to cultivate moment to moment awareness of what is alive in ourselves and others, and to act in ways that contribute to life. According to Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg (1934-2015), NVC’s founder and past director of educational services, "All that has been integrated into NVC has been known for centuries about consciousness, language, communication skills, and use of power that enable us to maintain a perspective of empathy for ourselves and others, even under trying conditions." Leyza is enrolled a Level I & II workshop with the Maine NVC Network.
